OUR FOOD ETHOS

HART COMMUNITY HOMES

Hart Community Homes, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 1996. Our mission is to heal, educate and empower at-risk youth to become healthy, productive and self-sufficient adults in the community. Hart Community Homes operates two licensed group homes in the City of Orange for boys, ages 13-18, in foster care. Youth are referred by the Counties of Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Los Angeles. By the time they arrive at Hart homes, many have experienced multiple foster care placements and the accompanying physical and emotional scars resulting from child abuse, abandonment and separation from family. Each home supports six adolescent boys providing housing, academic support, recreation, behavioral health, and emancipation services. Unique to Hart Community Homes is our workforce program where working-age residents can immediately earn a wage, gain work experience and develop a career path.
